I don’t know, Dad makes one Youtube video and he is never off the radio. I make over four hundred and nobody wants to know me.
I am joking of course.
This is the audio of my Dad talking about employment and age to Phil Gayle on BBC Radio Oxford.
I am a proud Son.
Is a very odd thing when someone recognises you from youtube. But feel free to say hello if you do see me in Didcot.
Filmed on Nokia N8.
It was a while ago that my Dad decided to do a YouTube video asking the World for employment.
He has been featured in several newspapers in the south of England. He has been interviewed by radio stations.
He still has not found employment.
Anglia News have just interviewed him for their nightly news show. I thought I would share the news footage with you. I am immensely proud of my Dad for going to all of this effort to look for a job. But most of all I am proud to call him my Dad. I will count myself lucky if I grow up to be even half the man he is.
Any way for your viewing pleasure, my Dad. Take it away Mr Hartley.
Apologies for the sound sync in the video, that was out of my control.
How is this for using the power of YouTube. This fella is looking for a job and has resorted to having to use YouTube as there seems to be nothing out there.
This has a little more of a personal meaning to me, why, because he is my Dad.
Screeetcher could have been the next big thing, but alas was not thought through
But on a serious note we should blog more
