Yesterday I had a fun day down in “that thar London” Forbidden Planet to be precise.

I got to watch Tom and Siobhan from Nimba Creations work their mastery on two victims. It was really interesting to see the process of making someone into a zombie from start to finish. Tom and Siobhan were charming and had lots of time for the audience, was truly a joy to watch them ply their craft.

Then Max Brooks turned up and signed copies of World War Z for a very excited crowd. He was fabulous and spent lots of time talking to everyone as he signed books.

It was an awesome day. Also great to see some folk dress up as zombies. I bet Luke (the winner of the costume competition) is well made up with his prize, a full head zombie mask from Nimba Creations. You can see the picture of the prize in the slideshow below, its the great big model on the desk in front of the demos and book signing.

My word it didn’t half test the brain cells trying to unlock my HTC One X. I kind of made it even more difficult for myself by doing it all on a Linux computer :) learned a lot. Was good fun.

Was much easier to unlock Androids that relied on SD cards back in the day :)

Am I brave enough to go ahead and install Ubuntu Touch on the phone as its OS? ;)

It’s really sad to see Pudding.to close. This was without doubt my favourite photo sharing app.

Users can start downloading their data on 22 April.

I guess my hunt for the perfect photo sharing app starts again.
