N8 tends to pick up a lot more background sound than the iphone 4.

I tell you what, I'm quite surprised at the difference here. The N8 looks a lot sharper and the sound is clearer. The iPhone sounds a bit dull. If we are going on these two clips I would definitely say the N8 has it here!

Thanks dude. It surprised me too. Side by side the Nokia is better as a video camera. But as an overall package I think the iPhone is better.
Did you use the N8 Video recorder or an app like Qik to get the N8 audio?
Hi Bernie, I just used the bulit in camera app. Then I uploaded via iMovie 11. The audio is also from the built in microphones.
