What is new in AudioBoo Beta 1.3?
It’s a 30 minute version that saves audioboo’s before upload. That means you can either record audioboos back to back very quickly or record a bunch when out of range of 3G and then reopen the app when in range and watch them lovingly upload one at a time. It’ll try and find your location via an Edge connection when recording though.
Also, this version also has a detailed view of boos, so you can see the image, tags & location details. More to come… All The words of Mark Rock.

You will notice an extra button called “Uploads”
Recording looks the same, but look at the Uploads button now.
When out of signal range you have the option to save boo’s for upload later.
The ability to save a whole load of boo’s for uploading later is fabulous. Us folk here in the UK are tied to O2 cell phone network. It’s 3G coverage is very poor (well around my neck of the woods it’s shockingly poor). So the upload later when in range of wifi or good 3G is a must.
My only suggestion with the save and upload later would be that the user controls when the saved boo’s upload . In this beta they all upload as soon as you open the app in range of decent network coverage. I could see this being spammy, especially if you have say 20 boo’s cued in uploads. But it is also important to remember that this is a beta, and for me a step in the right direction.
I love AudioBoo and I would urge folk to get it and start booing today.
@krystynchong asked me today what is AudioBoo, I answered the best way I knew how, with a boo of course.
I hope you get the AudioBoo app and I hope you enjoy booing as much as I do.
Go find out how to get AudioBoo from AudioBoo.fm
Oh and you guys with Android, ehem I believe there is a beta version out for you as well.
