I was so excited when I heard that the Kindle app for the iPhone had been released.
I scoured the iTunes App Store and thought I was loosing my mind. I could hear all the “wow Kindle is amazing” chatter flowing through Twitter and the web, but could I find it? No.
One very good reason I could not find Kindle. Once again the iTunes App Store have released a product to some parts of the world and not to others. This quite frankly sucks.
Yes I know about national trademarks and international commerce borders. I would have thought in this day and age the internet would be exempt of that. After all I can have a .com webpage even though I live in the UK. I can also purchase items from American websites, I would be more than happy to by my Kindle books the same way. But I can’t because UK has been left out of the Kindle revolution.

Andy Ihnatko was twittering about it a few weeks ago and I asked him when we could expect it.
He replied only when we unreservedly apologised for burning down the Whitehouse. I was lost for words and a pithy comeback!
